A New Chapter

Well,  mum and Stuart got here late Thursday night.  They made pretty good time since they left Vegas on Wednesday late morning.  They stopped in Albuquerque on Wednesday night and pushed on to get here Thursday night.

Peggy let me have Friday off from work to move things, get a storage and unload, and settle in.  Which just about killed me doing as mum isn't able to lift anything due to the hernia that has come back from the stupid doctors not doing a decent job at UMC and with Stuart being sick and not allowed to be up on his foot!

And Saturday night we took Stuart to the hospital because he just wasn't well.  Long story short.....he will be having his other foot amputated tomorrow afternoon!
It's hard, especially since knowing this would happen, but not supposed to happen for another couple of years!  But, on the other side of that coin is the fact that this will give him a better quality of life and let him be completely mobile!

So starts a new chapter with my family.
I think that time and distance has helped heal what was broken and we can start fresh on a new chapter & in a new place!
