Lieutenant Dan's Magic Legs

Do you remember Lieutenant Dan from the movie Forest Gump?  Remember the part when he shows up at Forest's wedding to Jenny, and Forest says to him "Lieutenant Dan, you got new legs.  Magic legs!"  Well, that's my brother now!  He has become Lieutenant Dan because he now has "magic legs" like him as well!

It has been a long hard road of many surgeries, home health care, too many doctors visits to even count, countless medications, numerous procedures, and a number of hospitals stays.  And while this is a hurdle to overcome, the quality of life and being able to do things is beyond measure!  But, if it were easy, would it even be worth it?  I don't think so!

It will be no time at all that Lieutenant Dan is getting around without those crutches and leaving us all in the dust!
